Clever Dog

Took Seumas less than 10 minutes to work out the dog door to get out and then not much longer to work out how to get back in.  He had never seen a dog door before so this is pretty good, at this rate he might be playing chess by next week!

Seumas arrives

Today we collected Seumas from previous owners.  This meant moving him and his box, blankets, food.  All went well and he seemed to adapt well, a short walk around the block seemed to go down well.

So for his first night in a new home he has gone into his box after eating half his dinner.  Must have been a strange day for him, losing his old pack and being taken in by a new pack!

Finding a hound

After deciding that we wanted a dog there was lots of looking and excitement.  We pretty much wanted a wippet or Italian greyhound.  I really liked the idea of getting a dog from the pound.
